East end based company seeking an Accounting Manager to handle many aspects of the accounting process including: consolidated monthly reporting and analysis, web sales postings and credit card reconciliations, tax filings, general ledger postings, bank reconciliations and general journal entries, accruals and prepaids and variance analysis and narratives. As well responsibilities include reviewing and assisting with payroll, assisting with preparation of budgets/forecasts, preparation of audit working papers and other duties as required. Must have an accounting designation (or in final stages) and previous experience with APSE along with proficiency in excel (in areas such as V Look Ups, Pivot tables, macros and embedded or nested functions). Previous experience processing hourly and salaried payroll is preferred as the incumbent might eventually own this function along with other areas such as A/R and A/P. Accounting Manager

Very exciting midtown TSX listed company seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee general ledger accountants and to provide support to management. Responsibilities include: preparing monthly reporting package and operational data reports; account reconciliations and analysis; reviewing journal entries; assisting in budget preparation and forecasting as well as other projects as required. Must have a CPA designation, ideally in a public company environment, with advanced excel and analytical skills. To $90 + up to 10% bonus potential and excellent perks.

Payroll and Administrative Coordinator

 

Prominent and exciting company is currently seeking a Payroll and Administrative Coordinator responsible for payroll processing, benefits administration and ensuring the field sales team submits expense claims, paperwork etc. in a timely manner. In addition to the above, the incumbent will be responsible for government remittances, preparation of income tax related forms, pension contributions, updating databases, processing invoices, analyzing bills/expense reports, administering cell phone plans, allocating charges to appropriate departments and performing other related duties as required. A PCP certification (or related payroll experience) is required as well as advanced Word and Excel skills (such as vlookup and pivot tables). Our dynamic mid town insurance client is seeking a Disability Case Manager to proactively and effectively handle a portfolio of benefit claims for short and long term disability insurance. Key areas of responsibility will include: analyzing all relevant information to determine company obligations such as: contract provisions, medical proof, non-medical factors, government programs, legislation, internal policies and procedures etc.; contacting all the agents involved in a given file to obtain all relevant information and providing them with the decisions and action plans related to settlement requests; making appropriate and careful selection and use of internal and external interventions (cases referred to company consulting physicians, the supervisor, a rehabilitation firm, a medical expert, a residual capacities evaluation firm, an investigation firm, a reinsurer, etc.);interacting with external agents so that they respect the objectives and budgets provided and make sure the intervention is progressing well; developing and implementing interventions that reduce the duration of disabilities. The successful candidate will have: a minimum of three years of experience in disability claims adjudication and management with a life insurance company; a strong knowledge of insurance contracts; outstanding communications skills (oral & written); excellent analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills; a strong ability to adapt to change and quickly integrate new knowledge; an ability to work well under pressure and manage priorities as well as a willingness to collaborate in reaching common objectives. HVAC Installation Technician

Mid town well established HVAC company is currently seeking an HVAC Installation Technician with a Gas 2 license and preferably the 313D certification. Good communication skills are essential as well as absolute reliability. Must be keen to continually upgrade knowledge. To $30 per hour.

 

Building Operator

Property Management Company is seeking a professional, reliable and pleasant Senior Commercial Building Operator with a good track record to work in a commercial property complex located in Mississauga. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in building operations and maintenance, you will operate, maintain, inspect and test HVAC, electrical, plumbing, chemically treated water systems and life safety equipment.
