Bilingual Technical Specialist

Automotive company located north of Toronto seeking a Bilingual Technical Specialist to provide support for technical, warranty and after service related questions/issues pertaining to motorcycles, ATVs and outboard motors. Duties include: phone and e-mail support including communication of diagnostic and/or repair procedures; resolving product issues with customer relations; assisting dealers with their concerns e.g. obtaining parts or technical issues; assisting in testing and evaluation re: installation of parts and accessories; supporting research and preparation of field technical inspection reports and attending dealer meetings and consumer shows. Must have technical work experience with motorcycles, ATVs and outboard motors and have effective communication skills in both English and French. A college diploma or provincial certification for motorcycle mechanics, Microsoft Office experience and a valid driver’s licence, motorcycle operator license and boater pleasure craft operator card are needed. Bilingual Disability Case Manager

Our dynamic North York insurance client is seeking a Bilingual Disability Case Manager to proactively and effectively adjudicate a portfolio of short and long term disability claims. Key areas of responsibility will include: analyzing all relevant information to determine company obligations such as: contract provisions, medical proof, non-medical factors, government programs, legislation, internal policies and procedures etc.; contacting all the agents involved in a given file to obtain all relevant information and providing them with the decisions and action plans related to settlement requests; making appropriate and careful selection and use of internal and external interventions (cases referred to company consulting physicians, the supervisor, a rehabilitation firm, a medical expert, a residual capacities evaluation firm, an investigation firm, a reinsurer, etc.); interacting with external agents so that they respect the objectives and budgets provided and make sure the intervention is progressing well; developing and implementing interventions that reduce the duration of disabilities. The successful candidate will have: a minimum of two years of experience in disability claims adjudication and management within an insurance company; a strong knowledge of insurance contracts; outstanding communications skills (oral & written); excellent analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills; a strong ability to adapt to change and quickly integrate new knowledge; an ability to work well under pressure and manage priorities as well as a willingness to collaborate in reaching common objectives. Regional Sales Manager-Chemical Engineer

East end company seeking a Chemical Engineer to sell custom made solutions primarily for water treatment, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical related equipment. Territory is for Eastern Canada and the Midwest and Eastern USA. Responsibilities include: prospecting for new clients; preparing proposals and business cases including sales quotes; working with the Engineering Department on technical specifications based on information collected while out on the field; performing sales presentations; conducting market research; resolving issues and providing ongoing support to customers; participating in trade shows, seminars etc. and other related duties as required. A university degree in Chemical Engineering is required as well as sales experience in water/wastewater treatment or the chemical or petrochemical industry.
